Navigating historic streets for a gut remodel
Pulling up to a corner lot in Creekwood Ranch, we saw a driveway already choked with stacks of lath and plaster. The project involved a full interior gut on a property near the original townsite, and the narrow streets meant we had zero room for error. We needed to position the bin close enough for the crew to wheelbarrow debris without blocking the neighbors' view of the fairway or cracking the exposed aggregate driveway.
Mateo placed the heavy-duty wood blocks we keep in the cab to protect the pavement and guided the truck into a tight spot right off the garage. We angled the 20-yard dumpster so the back doors swung fully open, allowing the demo crew to walk heavy debris straight in rather than lifting it over the side. We swapped the full bin for an empty one before the HOA even noticed the dust.
They maneuvered that dumpster into a spot I didn't think was possible without scratching a single paver.
